Yo. I’m taking a break from studying the human skull for Human Anatomy, which is ironic because I’ve been taking breaks all day long aha. I’m so over this insane studying, I’m not a fan. January is almost over, just another week eh? Wahhh. This month has been pretty good to me, and let’s not forget December’s goodies. Christmas was pretty nice, got some cool things, and my birthday was also pretty nice. I had school on my birthday though, and I didn’t get to go out or do anything for it so that did kind of suck. I think the best things I got as gifts, as it turns out, were gift cards. I ended up getting a couple for Target, one for Sephora, and one for Subway. I didn’t really want one for any of those places but it turns out they were awesome. I used my Subway card up really fast, because they had this deal (expired now) where you could get one 6 inch sub and get one for free and I kept buying me and Richard food using that. おいしかったです。I got so many seasons of House M.D. on dvd hehehehe. I love that show and pretty much spend a lot of my Target cards on it.

And let’s see, I got some new primers at Sephora. I’m very happy about that, I was seriously needing some new ones. I don’t like the MAC prep+prime face primer and last year for my birthday (because at the time I liked it) my mom bought be 2 bottles of it. I was stoked but a year later I still am on only 1 of the bottles. They do last a long time but I’ve always been a little unsure about it, never really liked the way it felt on, and I’ve secretly been blaming my breakouts on it. But nice primers are so expensive, blah. So what I did was… yesterday I took the unopened MAC primer (yes a year old aha) and took it to MAC and asked if I could exchange it since I didn’t have a receipt. I was surprised that they let me, so I had $30 to spend at MAC, woo! I ended up getting a blush that I let Richard pick out, and they gave me the difference in cash back. It was awesome, if only my mom knew, baha. 

So school is pretty good, I love my classes this semester (but then again, it’s rare that I hate any of my classes since I get to choose them now). I’m taking Human Anatomy, Human Development, and a gym class. Doesn’t sound like much but to be fair, my Japanese 2 class was cancelled less than a week before the semester started and all of the decent (and not so decent) classes were filled up by then. I was mad, buuuut, now I’m enjoying it ha. I took 7 classes last semester so ya, a chill semester is nice. Or so I thought. This anatomy class is killer. My counselor told me to only take Human Anatomy and maybe another class, I pretty much told her “um no. I’m taking more” and she couldn’t do anything about it. Going from 7 to 2 classes? No way Jose. I guess it was just karma that the Japanese classes were cancelled, heh. 

La la la, what else. I’ve been seriously obsessed with tumblr lately, just not with posting anything. Thus, the need for an update post. 

Richard is officially a USMC poolee now. He leaves for Recruit Training around June 4th-ish. That.. makes me happy… and sad. Wah!!! 3 months of not having my boyfriend with me?! T_____T After boot camp he gets a few days of leave but then he has to go back for his training/schooling/work. I’m hoping he stays around San Diego for a long while so I can visit him. And.. he promised he’d take me to Sea World haha. In all seriousness, I’m happy he’s doing what he wants and I’ll always support him. I’m not worried about the ‘downfalls’ of a long distance relationship, we’ve already done the long distance and other than the “Omg I’ve never missed someone so much, I’m miserable O_O” it’s fine :P

Well, my Anatomy book isn’t going to memorize itself, so I’m gonna get going. Huge test on January 30th. Need more timez.

*Oh ya, on a side note, Carlos and Kelsey took me out to Masa Sushi and it was kinda for my bday (I didn’t have to pay) and omg, it was sooooo good!!!! I got the hamachi/unagi (yellowtail/eel) roll. Ahh, so tasty~ As I was driving us there I was like “..hm. You also go this way to go to Emi-san’s house.. and this way too!” turns out it was pretty close to her house aha, so random. Emi-san, we should go get sushi some time and then have a movie night <3 

Mom: I’m going to Lowe’s to get some lumber.

Me: UHH, what if the tree guy comes while you’re gone??

Mom: Oh he isn’t coming today, it’s a holiday! They don’t work on holidays.

*mom’s leaves*

I just logged into my youtube account after not being on there for months, and I kid you not, I have like, a thousand new videos to watch from my subscriptions. I’m not sure if I’m happy or sad about this.

On a happy note for sure, I got the Human Anatomy textbook from Richard’s mom last night. It’s a $220 book so she’s saving me (aka my mom) a lot of money, but I’m scared because it’s really big and in perfect condition. I’m bad with my textbooks but I gotta keep this one pristine.. >_> Anyhoo, I started looking through it and I could’ve shit my pants, I don’t know whyyyy I was looking forward to this class for so long. It looks seriously hard. *WAH*

And on an even better note *drumrolls* my mom got a new job!! Woooo!! So happy desu. She still has a month off so I’m just like, “oh my god kill me now” because I’m getting SO tired of having her around me 24/7 but hey, at least she will be in a better mood.
